Common Pitfall

"Shaders as a crutch." If the underlying geometry is poor, no shader can save it. We build from the mesh up.

Glossary: The Leadivo View

Procedural Generation
A method for infinite, believable variation. We use it for foliage, never for level design. Intention is key.
Vertical Slice
A playable prototype focusing on one core mechanic. We ship this in 3 weeks, not a 100-page Game Design Document.
Emotional Fidelity
The accuracy of an interaction's emotional payload. If it doesn't make you feel something, it's cut.

The Alchemy of Our Process

The Sketch

We start with charcoal on paper. Storyboards and mood boards, not wireframes. The soul of the experience is drawn before a single line of code is written.

The Prototype

A playable 'vertical slice' in 3 weeks. We prove the feeling, not the feature list. This is where we decide if the core loop has emotional weight.

The Polish

The 10% that makes 90% of the feeling. Iterating on jump arcs, sound decay, and UI micro-interactions. We delete more code than we write.

Method Note & Evaluation Criteria

Our approach is evaluated against three core constraints: technical feasibility under tight budgets, adherence to strict platform guidelines (App Store/Google Play), and emotional fidelity. The primary risk is scope creep; we mitigate it with the 'Creative Veto'. What would change our view? A client's own data showing a different emotional bottleneck than assumed, or a major platform update that alters rendering capabilities. We are not chasing every trend—only those that deepen player connection.
